Wise Moose ask - Is it possible to lose what one does not possess?
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

I think it's one of those 'people are embarrassed to talk about it so lets normalise it' adverts.
Here you go, treat yourself:
I love it too, but it made me cry when first saw it. Then again I am having a tough time emotionally and had a family breakup in January so it pulled at my heartstrings. I would love to have all my family together in one room just like I did when I was younger. Like the Paul Young song used as well!

I think we’ve had this conversation before. I seem to be able to appreciate an ad without it ever influencing my buying decisions.
Some of them are well scripted, well filmed and tug at the heartstrings.
You can see that a lot of work went into the Elton ad. Little things like that haunted look from Elton circa 1990 when he was at his lowest and suffering with a massive drug addiction. Then you come full circle with the old Elton and the child Elton hitting that same key on the piano.
I thought it was a lively ad.
Would I buy anything from John Lewis because of they ad? No. I get what I want from the shops that I want, including JL.

Similar reasons here. Although I didn't even realise that was why until I read your post.
