Rightly so, although Collins was the clear man of the match yesterday.
Chambers and Pennington were very good.
I’ve been saying for weeks that Chambers, like Bart, has suffered from playing with an inexperienced and woeful defence. When others are making mistakes, it spreads panic and misjudgement.
Our defence has been crap this season but it is partly because our attack has been even worse.
The ball just keeps coming back at them, there is no respite.
Eventually something gives.
Yesterday was the same in the second half but Chambers had Collins alongside him and Pennington looked far better at right-back.

Chambers and Collins were fantastic yesterday. Collins was so calm and is a big presence, Chambo has always been much better with a big, physical CB alongside him so fingers crossed we keep Collins fit. With those two at the back we have a chance of pulling off the great escape, a slim one but a chance nonetheless.

Agreed as its pointless (!!) scoring 2 and letting in 3. If this defence can hold out every week we'll have half a chance of nicking a few wins against better teams. This must be the turning point and not one win in a row!
Would be happy with draw this weekend at very least.

We have to go for it every game draws are ok if others slip up. Blackburn are good but beatable even for us. We need to go on a run like what Hull are on at the moment.
