Quaner and Keane 13:02 - Feb 14 with 2155 viewsyorkshire

Just been back to watch the highlights and both showed some really good touches throughout the game that were picked up - Keanes little back heal and also the touch on to Jonas at the corner were both good pieces of skill

Would really like to see these tow play together for the next few games - I doubt we'll keep both (or possibly even one of them) if we do get relegated - however it will be good for our midfield to have something to aim at (and the ball won't keep coming back)

Given we are paying around £20k ish for Quaner's wages, he def won't be here next year.

He's won more than one header...

He trapped a ball once too.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Keane did say that he would not mind a contract despite what division we are in!

Thought Keane’s hold up play was very good last night.

Neither are likely to score many goals. That’s the problem.

It's only a problem when you don't have goalscorer around them. Get players running beyond and onto them and they both have massive qualities.

Different levels entirely I appreciate but Emile Heskey wasn't a goalscorer...good blooming strike partner though.

He’s on 16k a week so why would we pay 20k a week for him ?

Keane is decent with his back to goal, wins more than his fair share of balls but seems to struggle when facing the goal I'm struggling to think of a header he's won that has been goalbound or indeed forward. Needs someone playing off him, as he does hold the ball up very well, not sure if we have that type of player at the club at the moment.
