I'm not sure who my friend has been speaking to but they reckon that the season ticket announcement is going to be half price season tickets for current season ticket holders
They also reckon the comments from Lambert the other week were because Evans wasn't prepared to give him any money for a striker. Evans has reluctantly agreed to give him the cash now, hence the change in tone from Lambert.

No idea, that was my thought also as I currently don't have one
The suggestion was Lambert was saying give me money for a striker and I can get you back up, it's certainly not implausible Evans is likely to remain tight. He seems to have lost interest and is basically hoping for miracles to be performed on a bargain budget

I'd be disappointed if that's the case.
Fair play for recognising the support of current ST holders, but a good stance for 19/20 is a great opportunity to get new fans on board. I don't currently have an ST, but would get one if the price was right.
I'd like to see something along the lines of £250, with the price locked (perhaps with RPI increases) so long as you renew every year. |  |
