Have the club out any cash in?

Just asking.

This has been asked and answered before.

As I understand it the club intend to put money in, but I think Phil said it was likely to be to 'finish off' the fundraising, rather than anything else.

When are the club going to “finish off”, then?

Perhaps when £252 remains outstanding?

Poll: W or W

Suspect there are differing views on this depending whether you think a football clubs priority should be football, or street furniture.

Wouldn't surprise me if something along those lines happened but no plans for them to do that at present. Given the circumstances I doubt they'll be looking to pay out anything significant at present. They are helping in other ways, however.

For a guy that bleed itfc I would expect a good donation.

Would say 50k from the club would be the level I expect.

Or put another way, make an extra 2 or 3 ppl redundant next year to fund a statue for which the fundraising target will be hit anyway.....

Later than that I should hope. That would quarter the transfer budget

All I can add is that ITFC have been very supportive towards 'Proper Comedy', the comedy night to help raise funds for the statue appeal, on Friday 31st May. And by that I mean they've made the Sir Bobby Robson Suite available at a small fraction of the cost it would otherwise have been - without that commitment by the club we'd be holding it somewhere less impressive and far less appropriate.
All we need now is for ITFC and/or comedy fans to get along to the Archant Offices in Princes St to buy tickets, or buy online at www.wimbornecomedy.co.uk/tickets/
It's a great line-up,there's a full bar service and it's going to be a night to remember - support 'The Beat Goes On' and have a laugh at the same time.

I wonder how many of our fans have donated?
Even a few quid would be more than appreciated.

Just looked at the online link and there are 363 individual contributions listed there at the moment but donations are also being made via various other collections/sources.

Must be hundreds more than that. I donated at a match. They probably got more donations on that single afternoon than via the online fundraiser?

I am sure that you are right, the online thing adds up to over £11K at the moment although the total raised at the moment is over £50k.
