FYI The NHS was conceived under Churchill's watch by Beveridge, who was a Liberal.
The Tories announced the NHS plan a year before Labour.

It was Attlee's administration that implemented the Beveridge report and by the way you spell his name with two 't's. I put a question mark after the Attlee 1945-1951 precisely because many would not regard him as a 'hardline socialist' (which would really be a communist, wouldn't it?) So I had a scan through of the Wikipedia page and was reminded about his good rapport with United States administrations (hardly surprising given his part in the War Cabinet). But look at what the government achieved under him and how far that is from the feeble accomplishments of recent times and how radical the changes that were wrought. As you say so completely different to Corbyn who some commentators regard as economically to the right of John Major. | |

Saying you are going to show a partner a good time, is not the same as actually giving your partner a good time.
