3 goalkeepers the worlds best defence and a brick wall wouldn’t have stopped Garbutt’s so it gets my vote. It was in the ballpark of Baines’ 40 yard rocket for Wigan against us many years ago (we won 2-1). But I prefer KVYs because he is our player and I’m biased. It was also a lovely bit of skill

Everything about KVY’s goal was ace...

Signalling to Holy to knock ball out to wing when he was infield, picking it up and bombing along like a gazelle, cutting in and mugging off 3 defenders with jinks and step-overs and lashing the ball home. Self made from start to finish.


Apart from it not being on target until it hit their defender....

Popped off the keeper's hand on the way in didn't it? Looked like it was travelling so hard it just carried on with a bit more whip from memory.

Either way, it was lovely technique.
