We finished rock bottom last season for good reason.
Say what you like about our players on paper, they are not good enough to walk this league.
We need to lower our expectations, we will be in and around the top 4 places IMO but we cannot expect to go and win and play well every game.
If someone can explain to me why they think we should be winning this league with ease I'm all ears but simply we are Ipswich and we have the best squad in the league is not going to cut it. There are several players I would swap with the likes or Peterborough, Sunderland, Rotherham and even Wycombe.

So he deserves credit because we aren't mid table and we are a good team on our day?
Of course squad size and wage bill means something. He did very well to kick the losing habit. But a bigger wage bill means we can cater for better players (which we have) and a bigger squad means you can rotate effectively (Which he couldn't do) |
He deserves credit for us looking as likely as anyone of finishing in the top 2, despite the relegation hangover which his detractors massively underestimate the effects of and proportion him too much of the blame for.
We need to wait for a body before we try and have an autopsy and in the meantime, be on the inside pissing out. |  |

The narrative at the time was, good result but we haven't hit top gear yet, I still couldn't tell you what his style of football is.

"Meeting hoof with hoof" was exactly what most ITFC fans disliked about Mick.
PL has built a team that isn't strong at the hoof game, therefore the players, mostly the defenders particularly Chambers need to realise that and keep the ball on the deck and play balls into the strikers feet. Just like we did Saturday. |

Norris, Holy, Chambers, Kenlock, Wilson, Edwards, Skuse, Jackson, Nolan, Norwood are all average league 1 players who will struggle in the Championship. |
But Woolfie isn't. Chambers is a good league one defender hence why we have one of the best defensive records in the league. Huws, Downes, Garbutt, Judge, Keane. All top players in league one. Nolan has proved it in this league. KVY is the best full back when fit.
