Just goes to show that you pay zero stock to anything footballers/ managers at al say.

The only thing you should focus on is what happens on the pitch.

There's two possible ripostes to this:

1: 'It would be failure..' is an illustration of the pressure the players feel and the 'we got ourselves het up' is the result. Rather than contradicting, they support each other.

2. You're overanalysing a rather bland interview with a footballer.

I personally lean to the latter.

I generally follow that advice, but I tend to rate what Chambers says a bit more than others. Also considering how much Lambert is constantly trying to take pressure of players, Chambers piling it on just seems strange.
