Cat Owners 23:33 - Feb 17 with 8155 viewsSwailsey

A local friendly cat who prowls around our house just ran across the street because he recognised me and right under a moving car. There was a definite thud, but he ran off and we couldn’t find him anywhere.

Not entirely sure who’s cat it is - he’s just very lovely and always hanging around our front.

It’s dark and there’s loads of gardens nearby. Is the fact he ran off a good sign?

Can I do anything else?

Quite attached to the little dude and feel a massive sense of guilt because he wouldn’t have crossed if he hadn’t recognised me.

No9 is a good guy but he is the typical TWTD socialist.

He is probably on a ridiculous pension after working for Big Oil all his life and drives around on some mega 3 wheeled BMW contraption. He spends all day reading The Morning Star and googling how bad Boris Johnson is while his (Much younger and far to good for him attractive) wife potters around clearing up after him.

He puts mega earning playboy socialist Artsbossbeard to shame - and his wife does all the DIY and mows the bloody lawn.

Then he's certainly brighter than some people give him credit!

He’s also been very nice to me in the past. He’s a good’un.

We should give it a go. Anyone is welcome to have a drink with me in my Norwich half of the week, I don't drink at home in Ipswich - I sort of lead two lives, it's good for the health.

I have asked Vegantastic Herbivore for a drink a few times but he has declined, I think he struggles to leave the house due to a lack of energy. No9 pops in to see me now and again but I just get on with things while he talks about his socialist dream and oil pipelines - and he thinks I'm listening.

I think we were in discussions and I was trying to work out whether you were trying to lure me to my death and then you decided to take a break from TWTD, mainly because idiots like me kept banging on about Brexit. I'm not averse to the idea, if I can muster up the energy.

There are hundreds of posts on here that I don't agree with or do not wish to get involved in. I only comment on posts of interest to me. You might want to start doing that. Nobody is saying you have to like cats or anything else.

I thought one of the key points about a forum is that there are different points of view expressed. Am I only allowed to comment if I agree with the post?

Doh!

Any Wednesday - Friday is ok with me, just give me a nudge. The offer extends to any Nodge residents.

Ribs of Beef is a good bet.

You do not have to have a cat to dislike them as animals, cats are a big reason behind the song bird decline, owners should be made to put a collar and bell on a cat.

I'd probably avoid tonight if I were you. Tonight I have a mate from Epping coming up and he is a fox hunting, brexiting, UKIPing Farage lover.

Yeah, I'll give that a swerve I reckon.
