Well, they are inaccurate in the sense that those who die at home, time it takes for death certificates to be issued varying, people with multiple problems being included or not in the stats etc, yes they’re inaccurate as they are in every country’s reporting. But as long as the measure you are using is consistent you will get trends over time, which I think is about all you can get from them. This applies particularly to deaths in hospitals which seems to be the most accurate stat. |  | | |
