The evidence of internal sabotage and sitting on antisemitism complaints seems to have enraged many of the members and campaigners who are the de facto Labour Party nowadays. And quite rightly too - they and the people in society who Labour are most keen to represent have been shamefully sold out.
I'm supportive of Starmer and Rayner as they try to focus on the bigger issue of defeaing the Tory government and shifting public policy to a more equitable and sustainable place. But it's now important that they come down hard on these people and treat them like any other member or official who was guilty of enabling antisemitism. And the Labour right and their allies in the media and elsewhere need to suck it up and show that they have standards.

The 2019 election campaign was hampered by antisemitism allegations based around the handling of complaints prompting an investigation by the EHRC. And these scummy c@@@s engineered it!

Nobody sensible ever said there weren't legitimate complaints of antisemitism in Labour and among the membership.
It's how many that is the issue and how they are tolerated. "Rife" is not accurate nor is the idea that when they were proven they were tolerated.
By exaggerating AS in Labour, by re-defining it as anti-Zionist or anti-Israel FFS, by bombarding the complaints process with non-relevant cases to bog it down, by purposefully sitting on complaints in order to cause problems, by lying to a Panorama team about their active role ... everything was geared to promoting the idea that Corbyn was an antisemite and had made Labour an antisemitic party.
