Absolutely horrible.

The only positive may be that the child hopefully survives. I can't pray because I have no faith, but I do hope for them. And it would have consoled the mum.

The whole thing is dreadful.

A friend has lost his older brother (not Covid).

The funeral has to be 'straight to crem', with only the funeral director and coffin bearers in attendance.

The baby is doing well by all accounts but what an awful way to enter the world and psychologically in later life, the poor mite is possibly going to feel horrible guilt and need a lot of emotional support.

Such a sad story.

I absolutely hate this year and what's happening in the world with a passion.
