Daytime radio station 10:55 - May 14 with 5379 views | itfcjoe | What do people listen to? I keep trying 6 music but struggle to get along with it. Radio 2 turns to rubbish in the afternoon, I'm too old for Radio 1....

Daytime radio station on 14:44 - May 14 by Giant_Midget | I usually listen to a combination of radio 5 and radio 6. Nihal Arthanayake on 5 live is pretty good and doesn't have much covid related content. I usually switch from him to Craig Charles on 6 music, good show has been great. I ditched radio x weeks ago, I was fed up of hearing the dreadful new Biffy Clyro song every hour. |
I find that Nihal a right keen bean. He’s an enormous bell end. But then Lauren, Mary Ann are the same on 6, my preferred weapon of choice. I mutate towards 6 because I like a lot of their output. I have phases of my own library but that doesn’t afford you any new music, and I like stumbling upon new stuff.

Daytime radio station on 22:53 - May 14 by WeWereZombies | Never miss 'In Our Time' and 'Desert Island Discs' on BBC Radio Four and rarely miss 'Last Word' either. Try and catch 'The Life Scientific' but for some reason have given up on 'From Our Own Corespondent'. Managed to muck up the CD changer in the car so now have to listen to radio when I am driving, mainly BBC Radio Three but also BBC nan Gael when they have music or Gaelic lessons. Occasionally BBC Radio Two or Classic FM but too much interfering radio clutter and not enough unfettered music for my liking. And sometimes Kaye Adams on BBC Radio Scotland if a topic grabs my interest. |
Just love In Our Time... taking a topic and just going to a level of detail and insight like know other programming. I really like Broadcasting House, well worth a listen on a Sunday morning. Liz Kershaw on 6 music is the best music show.

Daytime radio station on 00:46 - May 15 with 310 views | Swansea_Blue | Nothing. I haven't religiously listened to the radio for years. Steve Wright in the afternoon on R1 used to be good in the 90s. Zoe Ball is pretty crap, which is why shes killed R2 ratings. Twâts like to listen to Farage on LBC apparently, if that helps

Daytime radio station on 00:59 - May 15 with 303 views | north_stand77 | Always have Radio 2 on during the day (unless Town have an away game- remember that? and I listen to to the match). Zoe Balls not great, I love Ken Bruce and Popmaster, gone off Jeremy Vine as he just winds me up, enjoy Steve Wright and 3pm 'Non stop Oldies' and Sarah Cox is quite funny. That's the background music to my daily life!

Jeremy Vine is the kind of thing I'd listen to if I'd had my last rights and it was the only choice left. It's meaningless, state-of-the-nation rubbish.

I used to think he was quite interesting but he's gone downhill in his choice of subjects and trying to be clever by making silly contraversial remarks that just irritate
