I saw Venus in a telescope for the first time a few weeks ago and its really damn cool, seeing what looks like a point of light become visibly spherical. Then you realise its earth sized and millions of miles away.

Mercury should become visible next to Venus from next Thursday at sunset. Never been able to see Mercury before.

Went to an event out by Orwell Country Park many years ago and got a glimpse at Saturn through the rather large telescope of one fella. He had to adjust it every now and then because being so far away it would move out of the field of view he had set.

I heard that one of their guys fell of the edge of the world when they were taking it down the other night. Sad, sad time - they're great guys, great guys. I think were gonna have an exceptional Mercury, real soon.

The only thing I know is that I might be wrong about everything else.
