As it should be. Lambert out.

I think this is wishful thinking fella. I'm sure Bully could offer more insight, but Lambert could definitely argue that legally speaking the season wasn't concluded.

"no one (knows)... the wording but they almost certainly won’t specify the season has to be complete."

I'd disagree with this statement. I'd say if there's a 'failure to reach the play offs' clause it will likely say, "If at the completion of the season we have not reached a play off position, the owner reserves the right to terminate the contract."

You're not going to have a 'failure to reach the play offs' clause at some random point in the season, it's OBVIOUSLY going to be at the end.

Any decent lawyer would destroy our assertion that the season is complete and Lambert's sacking is thus fair.

Haha you what?

You’ve never seen a legal contract before have you...? 🤣

Whilst the EFL can classify the season as completed, it feels bang in the zone for an unfair dismissal claim if the failure to secure promotion clause is invoked.

I’m with the man dollers on this one. His breathing training has delivered him a clear mind.

Ha!

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

I’ve already said it will put any clauses in doubt, I just don’t think anyone can say with certainty either way

And then you resort to insults instead of discussing like an adult.

I'm done. We'll see who's right.

Insults? Christ

I think if you’ve ever seen a legal contract you’d realise how laughable that wording was

And whilst you may be desperate to be proved right we’ll almost certainly never know I’m afraid. If Lambert is sacked we won’t know the terms, and him staying in a job will be proof of nothing other than Evans has decided he should remain in charge for whatever reason

Only a protracted legal battle would give any clarity - and that happening would support that it’s not clear cut either way

Of course it's an insult, every adult of working age has seen a legal contract. I was writing the gist not the exact wording FFS!

1. No you started it by repeating the lie.

2. I haven't based my opinion ONLY on not reaching the play offs.
