Teams are only allowed to use players who were fit at the time the league was suspended. Players can only return after the appropriate period has elapsed. So a player a week away from fitness when football stopped, can be selected one week after the matches recommence and so on.

So if a match had been postponed for had weather.
Then re scheduled for say 4 weeks later players could play in it then. |  |

By the same token any team that found a surge of form that completely contradicted their most recent performances ought to be subject to severe scrutiny. They might have to have their 44 match results rebalanced to take account of the official findings. The E.F.L. might discover that being useless cannot be overturned just to please those who write a good letter or have overblown self-estimation. |  |
