I could well be wrong, but I suspect ME doesn't think the stock is at its lowest (i.e. he would want a high price to recoup as much of his losses as poss). I agree with you, but whilst he's not having cash flow issues he still holds the cards as he doesn't need to sell. Those clubs that go cheap tend to be in financial trouble.
