I presume the Kieffer Moore 20:22 - Jul 8 with 2730 viewsGuthrum

scoring goals for Wigan in the Championship (including today) is a different player then the one with the same name who was slightly rubbish for us in 2017?

If not, quite a turn-around.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

That's the one, they all blur into one

So we did have a chance to look at him again and we didn't

What we would do for him now

He'd have been a half decent option in this league - seems his level. He did well at Rotherham (L1). And then did well at Barnsley only when they were in L1, not so good in The Championship.

He's not been particularly prolific this year in the championship either (although maybe he's brings other things to the team as I haven't seen him).

I'd rather Norwood I think, but I'd rather Keiffer for his physical presence than Keane.

The intention was to have a look at him but he wanted to go and at the time he was very saleable in a way he wouldn't have been after 5 months of warming our bench. He'd be a decent option at this level but you can't keep a player on the basis that you might get relegated in a couple of years.

Given our recent past, keeping a player on the basis that we might get relegated in a couple of years would be a sensible strategy!

We did, although if we'd played him after he returned from Rotherham he wouldn't have been able to move that January when we were at what looked like the top of the Kieffer Moore market.

That's the rules being a bit of an ass then?

I can remember suggesting we had a look at him, at the time given he'd bagged a decent tally for Rotherham

I assume he could have only have gone back to Rotherham in that case?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Unfortunately, many fans had already made their mind up when we signed him as a Forest Green reject for £20k and decided he was rubbish. He didn't really get a chance here. I can understand why, as MM was under pressure to get results. Alas, he has made us a little bit of money since leaving.

To be fair, he was absolute horsesh1t whenever he played here
