I think this is a bit of a myth, all our signings bar KVY were in early last year ahead of the pre season tour, the January before that they were all in early

I'd imagine there will be a benefit of keeping your powder dry as this window rolls on as well. There will be a lot of desperate players in 2/3 weeks that will be worrying about getting a contract at all and may have to re-adjust demands. |  | | |

If I remember rightly, Lee was saying that although redundancies had been made in some areas of the club after relegation, there were areas where additional investment had been made/staff had been taken on. |  | | |
