Matt Hancock’s Defence of Gavin Williamson 13:15 - Aug 19 with 1865 viewsPinewoodblue

Think everyone will agree he is doing his best but his best just isn’t good enough.

Suppose the longer he survives the longer her keeps the pressure off Hancock, Shapps et al.

As has Priti Patel, and indeed Boris Johnson (twice) if one can call falsifying quotes and lying to your boss a lack of judgement.

Sadly it is the new norm.

If people vote for liars, charlatans, and incompetents then I guess we can't be too surprised when we end up with liars, charlatans, and incompetents. We can't pretend we didn't know, Johnson and his followers had shown us their colours plenty of times.

Quelle surprise - more murky dealings with contracts dished out without going to tender. Again, with disastrous results given that this bung to Gove's chums was to communicate and build public confidence around the exam grading process. That went well.

Get Nepotism Done should have been their campaign slogan.

Report yesterday stated that Ofqual made the call to adopt CAGs. So even in his apology Williamson lied, claiming that he had made the call.

Inept, dishonest and without integrity. Sums up this govt nicely.
