Is COVID-19 more prevalent in general public than we think 10:21 - Sep 7 with 2815 viewskizaitfc

I was talking with family/friends last week and I find it odd how many celebrities are testing positive.

Generally speaking A-List celebrities come in contact with far less people than the majority of the general public, for example not going to busy supermarkets and busy/crowded bars and restaurants, not using public transport.

So if people like Usain Bolt, Idris Elba and Andrea Bocelli are testing positive is it not likely that far more of the general public if tested despite whether they have symptoms or not are likely to have COVID-19

I still think I had it starting mid-November.

I don't dispute that, although there are contradictory pieces of research. It's all a bit weird I think. My wife is a nurse at St George's, she tested positive but was asymptomatic. I tested negative and I was subsequently given an antibody test through work that came back and said I had no evidence of antibodies. Just find it hard to comprehend that given we're in the same household.

Is that St Georges in Tooting? If so, I was born just around the corner from it!

You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

The same celebs who have been sharing pics of their holidays in places where you now have to quarantine on arrival. Footballers bringing people from outside the bio-bubble into their hotel. Celebrities at parties not practising social distancing. Finally celebrities who get in the press more regularly than the average Joe. You could almost suggest that they are setting a bad example.
