When I was in the lake district last week I saw a bird in a stream that I've not seen before. It was small, brown but with a huge white bib and was bobbing up and down like it was listening to rock music. It was also regularly diving under the water. It then flew off, very close to the surface of the water, and again slightly bobbing up and down as it flew. And ideas?

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.
