It was your comment I read before I jotted it down and looked at it as an 11. I'll give the credit to you for this post!

If we’d done better against Doncaster and/or Lincoln he may have kept his place. It’s tough but something had to be done. Saying that I saw very little of this lauded passing out from the back that the two youngsters would bring to the line up. I am surprised Nsiala is preferred on the bench to Wilson, though - I’d have far more confidence with the latter as first reserve. I like the look of the above line up but I suspect at least one, if not two, of Sears and Judge will play.

sad that Freddie is now being bracketed with a player who appears to have arrived when the best of his career has seemed behind him.

Does seem harsh on Wilson. In the absence of Skuse or a serious alternative, maybe for a game like this we could use Woolfenden as an Eric Dier style midfielder and play him in front of Wilson and McGuiness He seems a competent enough ball player to be able to work with Dozzell. A bit, but we have to get out of this division season, whatever it takes, even it means developing a better young footballer for someone else.
