Rightly or wrongly, Lambert is a long, long way from getting sacked by Evans 18:41 - Nov 7 with 1832 viewstownblue

I would say there has been enough of an improvement so far to warrant more time and Evans is far more forgiving than me.

We can’t beat the top eleven teams in league one!! It’s awful! Should have been sacked last year - Evans handed him a five year deal!

I'm pretty sure that's spot on. Evans will have seen enough from the first 6-8 game so think we're making progress (rightly so). But then he's notoriously slow to react when things start going wrong agina. And he's immune to deja vu, apparently.

Are we making progress? We've got fewer PPG than we had after the same number of games last year. I'm not sure you could make much of a case that we've had a tougher start this season either.

I'm not sure what everyone else is suggesting though, that we should sack him early after a reasonable start just in case? It's not ever going to happen.

He should have been sacked months ago. He's not done enough this season for me to think he still shouldn't be sacked. He won't be as Evans is as clueless as Lambert, but as fans we're entitled to take a view.

I think he should have gone last season and think he would have done if things had ended normally, but I just don't think it would be possible after this start unless we had been really ,really bad.

I get that everyone is entitled to a view but just don't think it holds much value if it's outside the realms of possibility.

Thankfully you don't get to arbitrate on which views have value.

Blimey, this is a whole new level of 'easily pleased' right here.

2nd in the league does not usually merit the sack!!

Yet every time we’ve come across a half decent team we’ve lost. This season is just playing out like the last.
