I enjoy a drink as much as the next person....maybe even slightly more
I also enjoy the conviviality of a bar or pub
But I am filled with a sense of unease about this matey and his clever-clogs attempt to side step the rules. It might all be a bit of a larf to have your pub remain open by deeming it to be a church, but is that actually a wise idea?
It is not the Licensing Authorities who are going to be the final arbiter in the wisdom of this, or the Police or even the Courts.
It is the virus. The virus will judge.
