‘Church of the 400 Rabbits’ . Missed an open goal there hasn’t he. Anyone on here could have told him it should have been renamed the ‘400 Rabbis’.

I enjoy a drink as much as the next person....maybe even slightly more

I also enjoy the conviviality of a bar or pub

But I am filled with a sense of unease about this matey and his clever-clogs attempt to side step the rules. It might all be a bit of a larf to have your pub remain open by deeming it to be a church, but is that actually a wise idea?

It is not the Licensing Authorities who are going to be the final arbiter in the wisdom of this, or the Police or even the Courts.

It is the virus. The virus will judge.

It may well be that the bar can trade as a church and no one suffers any Covid effects as a result of drinking there

But there remains a chance that there will be infection and transmission. And then Smart Alec won't look so fecking smart
