Postponed matches due to Covid-19 16:54 - Dec 28 with 1752 views

While EFL and Premier League postpone matches , due to COVID-19, in the early rounds of FA Cup games were forfeit.

Will the FA continue with their policy or should they treat the big clubs, who don’t show much respect to the competition, differently to the minnows in earlier rounds.

Early round of League Cup, Leyton Orient forfeited their game v Spurs did to Covid. Now, Man City’s league cup semi v Utd is at risk.... chances of City having to forfeit approx zero. Money will talk, as always

Everton vs Man City does appear convenient for Man City given Everton’s run of form.

Plus these are the rules in the PL rulebook and they haven’t been updated for Covid

“Premier League guidelines that pre-date the pandemic state a fixture should proceed and requests for a postponement be rejected unless a club has fewer than 14 players available. Everton will ask the league for a full disclosure of why it agreed to postpone the game”

Some clubs COVID-19 compliance is better than others. For example Wolves have banned players from shopping.

Everyone should do what they feel is necessary which in some situations maybe more than written in any guidelines.
