We are absolutely stealing a place in the Football League as a professional side 00:30 - Jan 10 with 1354 views | dominiciawful | Utterly embarrassing. I'm so disgusted, just sick of it all. And the club still expect people to pay for iFollow and buy merchandise and fund season tickets and so on. F*ck them.

We are absolutely stealing a place in the Football League as a professional side on 00:33 - Jan 10 with 1315 views | MrTown | My exact words yesterday: “We could well lose tomorrow, I wouldn't be shocked. When you have a manager that can't coach a squad you end up with just 11 individuals playing on the pith. That is often reflected with our disorganisation, huge gaps and space between players defensively, and non inventive forward play.” Laugh or you’ll cry. You can’t take this club too serious whilst this core of players and manager are here, because they will only let you down time and time again. It will be another 10th place finish. Let’s hope for a clear out on the pitch and in the dugout come the summer, and see if we can reset from there. [Post edited 10 Jan 2021 0:38]

It'll be too late if we leave it till summer. I'm not convinced that it isn't too late now.

'This core of players' So much has been said about that fraud Lambert and rightly so but nowhere near as much as about the players. You see Woolfenden after the final whistle laughing with the Swindon players. Yes I know that he had been there on loan and knows some of them but it's still kind of distasteful given what happened on Saturday. This environment is the problem. Ipswich, nice and easy, no pressure to win so the players don't care. Joey Barton might be the man to rouse this useless mob. But no, no, no because as some say wE dOn'T wAnT tHe tHuG tO bE OuR mAnAgEr and our players have to be treated nicely. Some of the players have been treated nicely for a while whereas the club keeps sinking. [Post edited 10 Jan 2021 2:47]

It's not a case of needing someone like Barton though is it? We had Keane and he soon lost the respect of the squad. We need someone willing and able to demand high standards and professionalism. Say what you want about MM but the squad bought into his ideas and his demand for putting the work in. We don't need Barton. We need a manager who will constantly demand the highest standards. I might be being unfair but Taylor doesn't strike me as someone who can command that kind of respect and buy in from the players. Today was a bit like when we got a supply teacher at school. Not that the normal teacher is much better in Lambert's case. Everything is too soft. There's always another excuse ready because Lambert knows all he has to do to convince Evans it's all about to click and he's a victim of circumstances.

McGoldrick always injured and saying 'there was no pressure at Ipswich to win games' Berra: 'we are only Ipswich' So called 'proper blokes' , eh? MM cared more about 1M on his bank account for keeping us in the Championship hence the expensive loanees and not building anything for the future. I presume you'll disagree but it's about the opinions. We definitely need someone who would rouse this environment. But it won't happen as we are stuck with Lambert for a long while due to his long term contract. Everything is too soft as you say as some players get away with anything.
