If you check the video of last week's debacle I think you'll find that, for the worst of the goals, a striker finds the space between a stranded Chambers and Ward. Wolfenden was not at his best, but was by no means the worst.
Anyway, when questioned, I'm sure the answer for his omission will be along the lines of "he's still young; you can't keep playing these young players week-in, week-out". | |
