Indeed. Tho it should be noted that Navalny's own politics appear to be fairly hardline Russian nationalist.

Navalny wasn’t a free man for long then... on 23:17 - Jan 17 with 782 views | Churchman | It’ll be interesting to see what he dies of. 1. Heart attack 2. Suicide 3. Coronavirus (we tried so hard to save him with the Donald Trump treatment of toilet duck) 4. Bumped off by a prostitute like the pelvis crushing one in James Bond (Famke Janssen - what a way to go) 5. Accidentally fell in the river while attached to a concrete block 6. Fell under a big lorry. He wasn’t used to dealing with traffic 7. Accidentally stabbed with a brolly that’d been accidentally dipped in plutonium 8. Volunteered to work in a Gulag and accidentally starved to death. 9. Decided he wanted to hear all about Paul Lambert’s time at Celtic, Dortmund and St Mirren and shoved his head in the gas oven before PL got to St Mirren 10. Decided the life for him was to learn to fly without wings Poor bloke [Post edited 17 Jan 2021 23:19]

My c*ck just got a bit hard at that. With Putin’s man gone from the White House the whole global authoritarian brainwashing network could collapse.

Political leaders shouldn’t be allowed to serve more than two terms anywhere in the world. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

While that is a fair enough point, I am wary of Aung San Suu Kyi syndrome.

Problem with that is it may force good leaders to be replaced by bad ones, too. Moreover, "term limits" would be somewhat moot in nations where unstable governments can rise and fall (or coalitions change) with considerable frequency in a short space of time.
