No, and I don't think Town would let him go either.

is that because Sears thinks he is too good for Div 1 , so not ready to consider Div 2

I'm amazed in this day and age there isn't a blanket insurance policy at most clubs to cover such eventualities.
With our record the premium would be through the roof though.

Evans would only take out the equivalent of third party, fire and theft anyway.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I can't see him wanting to drop into League Two. There's also an option on his contract. If Town get promoted, again a big if, and that was taken up then it would be a far more lucrative deal than any he'd get in League Two, or League One, at this point.

I think Phil quite a few will be annoyed if we take up that option, Sears has hardly set this league alight and I frankly doubt he’ll rip up the Championship if and it’s a HUGE if we do get promoted, that money and cap space would be better off being filled by someone else.

Apparently, he’s in with our physio at the moment.

That's where he will probably spend most of the season anyway.

They've just realised he's had a major injury and hasn't played any competitive football for the best part of 10 months?

Jeez, this club. We all knew this as soon as his name was announced. Who have we got running the show; the Chuckle Brothers?

Yes, think that's effectively the position Harry Wright is in now.

So if holy or Cornell got injured would he be allowed in to swap with them in the cap whilst there out injured or would we just have to use one of the u18s as they are excluded for the cap.

As I understand it the squad is set in stone after the end of the month.
