I live in the hope that ME wakes up and stops being so influenced by week to week results, so in that respect I want the points on the board or our season really is in danger of properly slipping away. ME's approach to Lambert is like dating a girl you don't really like, you know she's not right for you long term and your family all hate her. You argue most days but then very occasionally she comes over and the shag is alright, without ever being too exciting. It earns her a stay of execution for a couple of weeks longer until the cycle repeats.

Sorry never want to lose, always want to win whoever is in charge and playing. I don’t want to sit through another lame home defeat. We lost to a team that did not have a shot on goal Saturday, can only happen here. We need to win tonight in spite of Lambert, Jim turned the budgies over and still got the push.
What would show us that the players were not behind the manager would be to ignore his advice to keep passing it about at the back and just play their game which should be better than we are seeing. Score some goals and then turn to the bench and point to their eyes. |  | | |

We didn’t pass it around the back on Saturday! Unfortunately we also didn’t get particularly close to scoring either, though I notice that on the Quest EFL highlights programme they thought the ball that Chambers turned back to Toto to put in the net hadn’t crossed the line. Didn’t particularly look like it had passed the whole line but Chambers lack of reaction to the decision makes me doubt that. | | | |

I think Evans needs to sack Lambert no matter what the result is. You only had to listen to the young lady reporting on the game for Sky Saturday as to how crap we are. She looked as if she would rather be watching Ipswich Wanderers than Ipswich Town the way the game went. Even when Geoff went to her and said something exciting has happened she answered "did it, Oh I think that must have been that disallowed goal". I can just imagine she was just scrolling through her facebook page all match as it was so dull with no action on show. |  | | |
