Quite right. It's about standards, and that applies on and off the pitch. But when you have a faceless owner and a manager who openly doesn't care if he loses his job, what do you expect?

This isn't a dig at anyone specifically re. the website by the way, but it's about having the tools and environment in which to do a good job. No doubt there's someone underpaid and overstretched, trying to do too much. In the same respect the stadium is filthy. I don't even think it's necessarily an issue of absolute budget, but more an allocation of spend. Feels mad to me that ME is so short sighted that he invests heavily in a bloated and expensive playing squad and a dud of a manager who is the highest paid in the league, but fails to address the wider issues at the club and invest in raising and maintaining those standards. Eg. If we could keep our players fit, we wouldn't need so many. Again, it's no surprise given the massive vacuum of leadership that exists.

Indeed. And depressingly, with Evans having been here so long he shows zero signs of understanding the small details. How can someone so smart, so rich, be so facking clueless? It’s mind blowing that he still doesn’t get it. But then, who exists at the club to tell him otherwise?

I'm guessing due to Covid we can't have a picture of Kieron uploaded?

Good to see they've now added a picture of Kieron now just to sort out the bio.

Now there's an idea. Anyone got a beanie hat and can look surly and disinterested on the sidelines; needed tomorrow afternoon at Crewe, 3 pm. No competence needed.

Cotty and Mullet are up that way aren't they; maybe they could do a double act like the Cowley brothers.

The lack of attention, the lack of care... it’s disgraceful beyond words and highlights what a terrible terrible owner Evans is. And anyone who says this stuff doesn’t matter can fook off. It’s a lack of professionalism which runs rampant through the club. Error-filled website, decaying stadium, worst injury situation in the club’s history...

Exactly this. Everywhere you look, things are sub-optimal. Standards, values, principles, vision. None of these are apparent at any level of the football club. Every operational aspect is not what you’d expect from a successful football club. This is how such a poor product on the pitch is excused and accepted.

Evans out.

Trailing vapour since 1999.
