Is the club wallowing in victim syndrome? 20:25 - Feb 2 with 800 viewsCoco

Believing the narrative that it’s so difficult during lockdown.

Moaning that there are so many games to play in so few time.

Bemoaning squad depth.

Whinging about youth.

Lambert telling everyone its tiring.

Lambert telling everyone it’s immoral to be playing at all.

Lambert saying there’s no money.

Is the club suffering a bit of ‘oh woah is me’?

All the above may be true but it is true for EVERYONE.

Lambert is accusing fans and media of negativity but it maybe his negative narratives that infecting the very core of the players and club. The mentality is to find an excuse rather than rise up a defeat.

Maybe, but perhaps man-up and get -the-f**k on with it.

Or if it is all too much perhaps help out and do some long-shift community work (i.e. at a local hospital).

It's wallowing in Lambert syndrome.

He's been full of excuses ever since we hit L1.

Very poor mindset and example.

I think it's very clear that the club hierarchy thinks we're doing alright in difficult circumstances and don't really understand what everyone's complaining about.

Lambert going on and on about fan and (now) media negativity was the final straw and death knell. It's a complete joke and there is no way he'd still be here if not for COVID. It just wouldn't be tenable with fans in the ground, at all. The bloke is getting away with murder(ing our club). Evans' stewardship is a disgraceful dereliction of duty to ITFC.

I don’t think so. Quite the opposite actually. They seem to be quite happy. The players say the mood’s good, Lambert thinks we play well and can still go up and Evans is happy to continue backing Lambert.

It’s only the fans who are pessimistic because of the big gap between the evidence in front of our eyes each week and the comments and actions from the club.
