That's my reading of it. I don't mind that - the younger ones breaking through haven't looked good when given a chance lately. Although in their defence nobody's looked good! It's the slightly strange explanations coming out of the club I find odd (off the back of delusional comments about how well we're playing and still aiming for automatic promotion). |
I think it is difficult for Dobra & Lankester etc to find form, bench most weeks, rare appearances, back on the bench, back with the u23's.
You got to trust the academy products at some point to blend them into men's football. Downes, Bishop, Kenlock, Woolfenden and co now look like they belong in men's football.
So now you have to integrate the next batch - El Miz, Dobra, Ndaba, Lankester
But I'm it is been stunted by average L1 players and loanees.
But that's where we don't have a manager that trusts the academy products. | |

There are options out there, due diligence is key, but there will be options out there on the budget.
