I suspect there is a break clause with failure to reach the play-offs - or something of similar nature.
ME does everything on a budget so he will be holding back until that moment he has to pay the minimal amount.

I suspect things are going on behind the scenes, lets be honest it's not like Evans has been hugely vocal in the past 13 years, he likes to go about his business in a quiet manner.

If he's still here by the end of the month then for sure he's going to stay until Evans can activate a clause for reduced compensation.
I hope the develolments over last week with extra media attention has forced ME's hand and he's finalising the new appointment this week. That's my guess. Lambert to go on Sunday with new guy annouced Monday. | | | |
