The goal kicks to a defender still inside the penalty area is just asking for trouble, if you ask me. Gonna get closed down too quick and make a mistake costing a goal.

Don't understand the rational to change this rule to allow the pass inside the box.

It's just strange even in this game Arsenal have passed it straight to city in error as being chased down.

It's a tactic for the likes of Man City. Get your opponents up the field, create some space and play through them. At least three quarters of teams doing this have no business doing it.

They invariably have 4 players in their own area waiting for a pass. That's 4 players they don't have higher up to get it to the front players. Madness. Hopefully our brush with it is over but with this guy you never know.

It's the most pointless and pathetic of the new rule changes. First brought in the women's game. Just slows the game down and breeds boredom in the watching fans. 9 times out 10 the defenders end up passing it back to the keeper who launches it long in any case.
