Think we'd need to keep Chambers and Wilson both as cover for CB as without them it leaves just Woolfenden. Would keep Bishop, Nydam, El Miz, Edwards and Jackson but only as back up / sell on.

Squad will hopefully look something like

GK - New GK & Holy/Cornell as back up
RB - KVY + new back up
CB - New first choice to partner Woolf, Chambers & Wilson back up.
LB - New first choice + Kenlock back up
CM - New first choice (experienced), Downes, Dozzell, Bishop, Nolan, Nydam.
Wingers - 2 New wingers, Edwards, Dobra, Lankester.
ST - New first choice, Norwood, Hawkins & Jackson (probably sell).

Edwards won't be part of it. Ndaba probably will

Edwards I think believes he may get a Championship gig, his form post injury doesn't warrant a National League gig.

The first team ive put out includes 7 new players. I think you're stretching if you want to see an entire new starting 11 and 8-11 new squad fillers. We have to retain some players to fill the gaps, especially given our injury history.

Because some of them have talent albeit often hidden.

A proper pre-season under Cook and hopefully the players can start playing the way he wants them too.

We can't release all players and sign another 11+ all for free, so some will be required even if just for cover. I'm sure plenty of these would be successful at other clubs, hopefully now we have a manager who can make them successful here

Anyway my list would be:
Keep
Bishop

Keep 1 of as backup
Wilson or Nsiala (I'd probably chose Wilson)

Release
Ward, Huws, Sears, Cotter, Folami, Drinan and Wright

Chambers - potentially keep as backup, encourage him to start on coaching courses to retire after next season
Skuse - similar as above, but I see less need for him as cover, so maybe release

Jackson, Judge, Edwards have all shown good form and ability at times and been useless at times too, I'd trust Cook's judgement on these

Cook hasn't worked with Donacien, Nydam, Morris yet, Donacien seems to have done well out on loan, so could be worth keeping. The other 2 had potential but it's now or never for them to make it, we'd all be guessing how good or not they could be now
