To MM haters out there. You are responsible for this mess. See you in League 2 in a couple of years

Was a huge MM outer. It was boring football.

Right now we are mid table. Dull. No chance of going up.

No difference is there!? Apart from we haven’t been told to f off by PC yet.

Erm, we're one division lower. How can that have escaped your attention?

You haven't answered my question. Where have I cahnged my stance?

"cahnged"

What?

Your stance was that McC had taken Town to the lowest position etc...

It's not difficult mate.

We are now so far below that it is verging on awkward to even bring it up.

Extraordinary isn't it?

It's like a blindspot. "This is what we wanted"

"What do we want?"

"We don't know, but we want it now - yay!"

Then wonder why they don't get taken seriously.

When people support something that turns out to be a terrible idea they go into full-on denial.

Even lashing out here and there, (often manifesting itself as pathetic down-votes as opposed to any actual constructive reasoning), because it's simpler than facing up to a failure of judgement.

Yes, a bit like Brexit if some insist on going there.

Have you read my posts?

Yes I say in my 1st one that his football was cr4p and he took us to our lowest finish in years? Do I not also say the exact same thing in my 2nd?

In my 3rd I deviate slightly to point out that you seen to think we should accept failure on the basis that change might bring about more failure but in fairness to myself at that point its has become a conversation and that's kinda how they work isn't it?

Now you've managed to point out a type o but still not where my stance changes which only serves to underline how wide of the mark you are.

Was he going to stay forever if everyone was nice to him then?

Then finished directly above Leeds and Norwich.

He had to go because so many softcocks went to games and got on social media desperate to see who could cry the most. That toxicity bled into fans who never bothered looking at the owner, until it's too late.

By all means insist MM had to go, but the fact so many of his critics were silent or even worse, jubilant, as Hurst ripped the club apart and Lambert buried it is an inconvenient truth.

Pretending that his football was worse than either, let alone now or that the entitlement that developed amongst them is a circle never squared by some. The lack of consistency and honesty after his critics got it so badly wrong then and now, is telling.

“That toxicity bled into fans who never bothered looking at the owner, until it's too late.”

What do you suggest was an effective way to bring any pressure to bear upon Evans beyond not going to games, which is exactly what was happening anyway?

We're in a pandemic. We still sold 9k the season we went down. The appetite not to go games really isn't there is it?

As we are seeing now, there really is and never has been any leverage to get Evans out. He has been tempted a few times to sell over the years and always opted to stay on his path. Such is his prerogative and wont.

However, had we not had nearly two years of people turning up looking to sabotage games (even when they looked silly at say Burton etc) we'd never be in this situation. People were happy with MM massively overachieving, but the second he didn't they never questioned how the club was run.

Even now they blame everyone else. The point is not so much being able to remove Evans, as much I'd prefer that still, but people's revisionism and dishonesty even years later. Long before MM went there was a strong chance of this happening and people were happy to ignore the signs.

For your information, at no point did Mullet ever forward anyone of any “signs”. He was happy with our “overachieving” and content with our stagnation. This doesn’t make him and never has made him the visionary he makes out. He seems to want an apology from someone. From whom and for what is ridiculous.

I’m happy I stopped attending games under MM and still delighted he’s not here. It was far too dreary. Our situation now is complete Irrelevant as much as messrs Mullet and co would have you not believe.

The repetition of this turgid, tedious conversation has to stop. I can’t wait for the day we’re back in the Championship and Cook turns over MM; only then will I feel like we’ll have some closure.

A minority of muppets hounded Mick Out. Evans listened. How is this the fans fault?
