John Nolan 10:29 - Apr 16 with 3783 views | BlueyandCrazy | Is coming out of all this pretty well; - welcomed back into the fold after Lambert sacked - been able to sit out the decline over the past few weeks - under contract, so - one of the few who comes out of all of this Okayish

Maybe Cook can get some consistency out of him, but for me he's a big disappointment. I'd rather he left the club, but I expect he'll get another season as per his contract

John Nolan on 16:03 - Apr 16 by MrTown | Toto has been one of the very few players that have performed overall well under Paul Cook. He has an error in him, as do most defenders at League 1 level, but he is one a very few to come out of the time under Cook so far with any level of credit. RE red card nonsense: he's been sent off once for us in 3 years. [Post edited 16 Apr 2021 16:05]

Subbed at least twice last season (at Accrington and at Portsmouth) because a second yellow looked inevitable, At halftime the first time and in first half the second time. It is true that he has been one of the least poor players in recent times. [Post edited 16 Apr 2021 21:13]

Were those both last season? He played the full match without a booking against both those teams this season and was Man of the Match on this site's voting against Accrington. So another take on that, is he has been much better this season than last.

Yes, last season-I did say that in my post. At Accrington apart from a yellow he gave away a penalty and was part responsible for another goal-our first defeat last season.

It could have read that just Portsmouth was last season. So my point stands. He is vastly improved this season.

John Nolan on 10:41 - Apr 16 by clive_baker | And actually a good footballer to be fair to him. I would be interested to see what he could do in a different environment, as on his day he is tidy and can break the lines. We so rarely get midfield players into the opponents box which Nolan tries to do. I would've thought he might be one that would get a chance under Cook, they're from a similar neck of the woods. Although I heard recently he was being earmarked for a departure. |
This, I think he has a chance, if he can stay fit (Big if with our track record) Hopefully PC will address that too No idea about the departure rumour though

I have edited my post so that there can be no confusion. He is better this season as regards the possibility of getting sent off but he has had several attempts at scoring an own goal. He is certainly one of our least poor players this season.
