Glassers - Just Good Friends on 09:30 - Apr 20 by GlasgowBlue
I’m with you on Jan Francis. Not sure how she looks these days and prefer to remember her as wa.
I’m amazed that you can’t watch Just Good Friends on BritBox. They put up one of the Christmas Specials last year but that’s all.
It still has some of the best one liners in sit com.
“Do you know what a vegan is Vince”? “Of course I do. I’ve never missed an episode of Star Trek”.
“Do you still drive the ice cream van”? “No I’m an accountant now” “Chartered”? “Turf!”
Norman Warrender: Amazing article in this magazine. Were you aware that 76% of women in the over 40s group have only ever made love to one man in their entire life?
Paul Nicholas was also in a great series called Bust.
It was at the time of the yuppie explosion and there was another program at the same time full of yuppies called Capital City where they were always buying and selling Yen.
Filofax City Arizona!
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”
Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.

The accountant line is one of my favourites. It's good but can't hold a candle to the line in Round the Horne where one of Julian or Sandy (can't remember which) says, while playing solicitors from Bona Law, that they've got 'a criminal practice which takes up most of our time'.
Best joke ever in the English language that one.

The actress is good, dodgy family tho
Her great uncle John was, apparently, a Bad Egg (and literally a bastard), whose children disowned him. His wife, great aunt Anne was, apparently, a Very Good Egg indeed.
