Personally, I'd love to see Bart back between the sticks 08:41 - Apr 28 with 3989 views | hype313 | I know he's getting on but it's not so much an issue with Keepers, he still lives locally and I'm sure he would relish re- joining with the new ownership. Not sure on his contractual situation with Millwall, but it would be a great start to the era if we could secure him. Holy and Cornell are ok back up's, but neither fill me with great confidence. Personally, I'd love to see Bart back between the sticks on 14:00 - Apr 28 by Cheltenham_Blue | I think the worst thing we can do is to go back in for old players. We need a complete break from the old regime. |
I agree on the whole, especially in light of other players being mentioned who haven't done anything of note for the past few years, but I personally wouldn't complain if Bart came back having been voted player of the season. But it's a moot point, as I've found out he's got another year and Millwall would be reluctant to let him go.

I’d take Mings Cresswell Waghorn Webster Bart Mcgoldrick and Joe Garner back all day thanks.

Personally, I'd love to see Bart back between the sticks on 09:29 - Apr 28 by TieDyedIn95 | He didn't leave, he was on a watertight contract that Evans didn't want to pay in League One which is why he was loaned out as soon as the Season Ticket sales were in, despite Evans naming him as a player we would keep for promotion... we then had Holy and Norris between the sticks and the rest is history. |
Bart was hankering for a move as soon as he returned from that World Cup, just like Knudsen did. They used their increased stock value to try and force a move. One totally misjudged h8s stock value, and the other was happy to go the the first club that came in for him. Neither were any great shakes as championship players imo, as the lack of any real interest for these two returning “ World Cup squad players “ appears to support.

You wouldn’t do too badly employing Joe Lumley from QPR, out of contract in June, been with us since he was 11, started off brilliant then had a crisis of confidence after breaking his nose at Villa, came back into the side recently and kept 3 clean sheets and made some amazing saves, was very unlucky to be immediately dropped once Dieng was fit again.
