I've had three operations on my right shoulder. I ended up having open surgery on mine as the keyhole surgeries both failed.

If it's his first dislocation (if it is indeed that), then it will probably just be extensive rehab for a couple months.

Shoulders are a nightmare if they go though.

Yes - I dislocated my shoulder playing football. Went on to dislocate it another 4 times, once it even popped out when I was reaching up to unlock a gate. Eventually had it pinned and all good now.

So do you have to hop over the fence now?
