I can confirm the chilled out approach I was taking to the closed season is out of the window.

Mixture of goosebumps, and funny tummy feelings when reading all that.

It won’t happen over night, but we really might be on the road to something extremely special, and can once again have a team/club to be proud of.

Suffolk in general is one of the finest parts of the country only thing it can not offer are lakes and mountains other than that it ticks all the boxes.

The Town is blessed with some very nice places especially the Marina area. It has some history too.

We now have people in charge who genuinely think this club can go places. That lot up the road are miles and miles ahead of us but they know that we’re now back up and capable of catching and passing them again.

Folks enjoy this ride it’s going to be fun!

It has really annoyed me how much people talk down Ipswich as a town and a football club, both have serious potential but most of our fan base seem to think the town is a sh*t hole and the club is going nowhere

Nice to have the 3 Lions, O’Leary, Cook and Ashton actually talk up the town and the football club and it’s potential - as a proud Ipswichian

Didn’t Asa do a song called Take Pride in Ipswich. Or maybe I imagined that.

I've never lived in the Town, or even Suffolk if I'm honest, always North Essex and then London. As an 'outsider' who's always considered Ipswich as a second adopted home, and somewhere I've been coming for matches, music and nights out since the 70's I've never really got the attitude some locals have had to the place.

Ipswich is probably not the prettiest Town around admittedly, but on the whole it's quite a nice place. As for the Club, even now when people learn who I support most will say 'Oh I've always liked Ipswich, decent club' or something similar. Because of my accent most expect me to support a London club I think.

Ipswich people be proud, it's a decent Town at worst, the county is glorious and most proper football fans (maybe not the armchair Sky variety) still have a lot of respect for the Club.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

It's the accent. It's weird that I live only twenty miles away yet the accent is very different.

There are several Suffolk accents. East and West are not the same, Ipswich different again.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
