Yep, you are right. I thought he was gone the previous season. Old age huh. I see from Wiki he scored in the win at Grimsby in Sept 91, but that’s the last goal I can see from DL. Anyway, I hope he got a Div 2 winners medal, he deserved it.

I think his last goal may have been against Luton in the ZDS Cup. Last minute header took the game to pens which we won 2-1, in what was the worst pen shoot-out in football history.

I don't believe he got a Division 2 medal. He only made a couple of sub appearances. He was behind Kiwomya, Dozzell, Goddard for a place in attack and I think he left on loan for the last few months of the season. He definitely wasn't at the player of the year function after the Brighton win.

That video a good reminder of just how good Dozzell senior was, even at 18-19.

Jason Dozzell is one of Town's greatest post 1981 players. John Lyall brought the best out of him. Dozzell and Kiyomya up front together were fantastic.

According to Wiki, David Lowe played 14 times in the league that season (only scoring once but with a further 4 games and 3 goals in the cups). He then went on loan to Port Vale for the end of the season playing 9 and scoring 2 for them. Not an illustrious end to his career here (he played 13 league games without scoring the season before that).

I would assume his absence at the end of season was due to him having gone out on loan and the fact he was unlikely to stay at PR.

I'm amazed he made so many appearances, don't remember much of him from that season or even the one before.
