Seems odd seeing a capacity crowd in the stadium for the match today.

Marvellous to see, 60,000 fans packed in. the whole tournament should have been played in Hungary. A good display from Hungary, unlucky with the own goal.

Ronaldo is the boss.

I can't remember if Orban is a covid denier as well as a fascist but the two do seem to go together.

Look at this boy bringing politics into a discussion about a football crowd. Obsessed!

As for V Orban he put his neck on the line fighting communism in the 1980s.

You literally cited a country run by facists as a vision of a better world.

I was in Hungary recently. A beautiful country, it was like entering a world of light compared to the grim state of affairs in the UK.

Have you been to Hungary at all?

By denying it exists and not worrying about a massive death rate.

In all fairness, nazis were never popular with communists.

Or decent people either.

Spanish tv just highlighted the homophobic chants directed at Ronaldo during the match, it was clear in their report so UEFA should also be aware. It wasn't clear if Orban joined in or not.

Just had a look at the stats re Hungary. Quite an interesting little Country really . Population now of just 9m. Population appears to made up mainly of Hungarians ie not many immigrants to the nation , and those that are , are largely from other European countries. Seems be a lot of poverty but mainly amongst the Roma (Romanian?) nationals as opposed to the Croates, Slovaks, German, nationals living there. Oddly enough their population is declining ( that’s got to be opposite to a world trend surely ? And the question you’d ask is , why?) . There seems to be minimal Asian influence in the Country and only a small % of Oriental .

So is it a prospering country ? Or is it along similar lines of say Romania ? It doesn’t seem to be a country that other nationals flock to to live.

Just observations …. But found it interesting nonetheless. I’ve never been ….. maybe I should !

Yes, I've been to Hungary, I drove around for 12 days a few years back and it's a lovely place with fabulous wine.

However Orban is an awful racist with horrible policies and they fact you think a country run using those policies is a beacon of light compared to the UK reflects horribly on you.

Those same popularist policies mean the Hungary also has the worst covid death rate in Europe.
