Just wondering if Celina is something Berke might be pulling some strings on.

I think the strongest I would go is that it's a strong possibility at the moment. It's been ongoing a while, which obviously indicates that it's being seriously considered by all parties.

Must admit when I first heard this I thought no way it was going to happen.

From what’s being said however it does seem a possibility at least. If it’s been ongoing for some time it hasn’t been dismissed out of hand and Ashton doesn’t strike me as a man who wastes his time flogging a dead horse.

Interesting times!

Indeed, neither side would have continued discussions if it wasn't a serious possibility.

Thanks Phil. Absolutely unbelievable that we're in with a shout of getting him here. The excitement level is going to go through the roof if it happens.

Indeed, a huge statement of intent. Reminds me a bit of Allan Simonsen joining Charlton in the old Second Division.

Indeed.

If he is a Kosovar Albanian Muslim, then they retained their links with the Ottomans as long as possible during the break-up of the European part of that Empire (1870s to 1913). Tho in the decades since, Kosovans looked more to Albania than Turkey. No idea what, if any, cultural links or sentimental affinities remain towards the latter.

So, last week when Dobra was upgraded from the U23s to first team training...
