* stop using third parties for tickets and bring everything back in house

Summer has been awful for ticket problems. And even more now. All for the wonderful extra charge of £1.50 per ticket.

Bring it all back Inhouse imo.

* I will add as 1 poster got a tad sensitive about it. Well aware ITFC doesn't have it's own I.T Dept. All im saying is, what ever they did previously... do that, what ever they've changed to, don't do it.

Are SeatGeek a massive organisation?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SeatGeek

Four hundred or so employees, that might even be as many as Town have coaching staff by the end of the year...but looking at that account of their operation with a number of major gridiron teams plus Liverpool and Manchester City as clients it would not be unlikely that Town are the poor relations and that our issues get dealt with after everyone else.

Massive compared to the ticket office!

Take your point, and I have no idea about the merits of in house or outsourcing but I do believe that when things go wrong, being with a massive organisation such as seatgeek is a drawback to getting quick resolution.

SeatGeek will have performance SLAs that they will adhere too with credits refundable to the club should they not be met.

Its imperative that each and every ticket issue is fed back to the club so that they can push back to SG.

My apologies. I didn't realise that. They definitely are for league games.

They aren't really. The ticket price is £21.50 as per this - https://www.itfc.co.uk/siteassets/image/202122/202122-misc/2122-price-plan.pdf

Yes on the actual ticket buying website, it will say £23. However, the ticket are "advertised" as £21.50 -

https://www.itfc.co.uk/news/2021/july/morecambe-match-tickets-on-sale/

"Adult tickets are available from £21.50, Under 12 at £1.50"

This isn't me complaining btw. Though to advertise that its £1.50, then add a £1.50 charge on it, seems a bit wrong haha

If this was done under Evans we've probably gone for the cheapest level of service with the longest SLA times.

If there's one thing I would like to teach in any business management course, it would be how to buy software and associated in-life management properly....and don't even get me started on software sales people.....
