The Cambridge Blue (off Mill Rd) was a bloody brilliant pub back in the day; I haven't been in there for about 4-5 years though.

Not going next week, very much wish I was.

I have heard that those travelling by train might expect a welcoming committee at Newmarket

If true they'll be pleased to know they will recieve a warm welcome back. Just like Southend away in 2019, this will be every lad and his dog day out. Let's hope both sides can handle their drink, we'll see.

It’ll be the usual posturing, singing in a pub (discreet!) and then forming an orderly queue for the escort to the ground. We’re talking about Ipswich and Cambridge and modern day Ipswich and Cambridge fans - literally nothing will happen.

it better not, I plan on sitting in a pub or three after the game waiting for the train queue to go down then jump on the 8pm(ish) home

We’ll be good again... one day
