Interesting little stat about our strikers. 13:57 - Oct 31 with 564 views | OriginalMarkyP | league career goals per game ratio. (bearing in mind that goals per game in one up top football team must be the most important stat for a main striker). Bonne: 0.29 Pigott: 0.29 Norwood: 0.37 [Post edited 31 Oct 2021 15:49]

Interesting little stat about our strikers. on 14:07 - Oct 31 with 505 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Lies, damn lies and statistics. First, why does goals per game have to be the most important stat? Second, which division are these in and for teams that score how many goals and when playing as a lone striker or in a two or what? Third, these stats are clearly wrong. None of those players average a goal a game over their careers, let alone above that.

So if the stat is games per goal, that means Norwood is the least productive of all three?

I assume that is the point being made. Perhaps i am mistaken.

I think the OP is trying to say the stat is Goals per game and imply that Norwood is the best of all three.

Certainly phrased as if that is the point they are trying to make. Certainly stated as goals per game (which doesn't take much thought to realise is completely wrong). A further consideration is what constitutes a game? Is this any appearance regardless of minutes played or total 90 minutes played?

I really don't know, but if it was goals per game we'd have 3 genuine contenders for the Ballon d'Or

We would only have to play each of them for at least part of a match and we would be averaging 9.5 goals per game. Even our defence couldn't stop us winning every match then! [Post edited 31 Oct 2021 14:24]

It’s goals per game but the OP seemingly has no idea how to do maths and has multiplied the answer by 10 for some reason As others have pointed out it isn’t really relevant, given that most of Norwood’s career has been spent in non league And I say that as someone who thinks Norwood would probably bag a decent amount in this side, but equally it’s obvious Cook doesn’t fancy him for a variety of reasons and hard to be too upset about that given the number of chances he’s been given here already
